Before she became my English teacher, I just read novels and searched for big words without caring about the pronunciation.

During her stay, I became intrigued with the word syllabus, phonics and mnemonic. I got to understand sentence structures and how a sentence can hold several meanings depending on the tone used.

Above all, I loved her intonation and how words rolled off her tongue easily.
